Lunar Guidance for Solar Eclipse in Aquarius + Lunar New Year: Year of the Horse

Greetings, my lunar companions!

It is an honor to meditate and channel the energies that flow through us all. As a psychotherapist and Reiki practitioner, I approach these archetypal moments with mindfulness, aware that even distant planetary shifts can profoundly affect our nervous systems.

Tomorrow’s Solar Eclipse in Aquarius coincides with the Lunar New Year, ushering in the Year of the Horse. This moment signifies shadow, change, and progress—all interconnected.

In meditation, I remote-viewed the energy surrounding this eclipse, and what emerged was… stillness. Not a void, but a pause—the silence before insight.

I envisioned a beautiful suburban home, an ideal we have been taught to aspire to. Externally perfect, it served as a symbol of success, yet internally, it felt cold and calculated. This imagery resonates with much of our current experience.

What Can No Longer Be Hidden?

Disillusionment.

Carl Jung posited that our unconscious guides us until we bring it to consciousness, a process he termed fate. Eclipses illuminate hidden truths, both individually and collectively.

Aquarius challenges established systems.

Eclipses unveil shadows.

The Horse inspires instinctual action.

In various domains—political, relational, spiritual, and psychological—exposure is occurring.

Many are confronting the reality that the promises of their dreams and the stability afforded by hard work were never entirely attainable. This realization can evoke grief, and as a therapist, I affirm that grief is vital for awareness.

During this transformative period, you may experience:

  • Restlessness
  • Emotional detachment
  • Frustration with injustice
  • Clarity about what no longer aligns
  • Disillusionment with previously accepted roles

These feelings are significant. You are transitioning into a new energetic and archetypal phase. Embrace your unique essence—you are capable of navigating this shift.

The Aquarius Archetype — Lived and Embodied

As an individual with an Aquarius Sun, I am well-acquainted with this energy.

Aquarius is often perceived as detached; however, it possesses a reformative quality, recognizing structural flaws early and advocating for integrity over chaos.

This eclipse may awaken your inner reformer:

  • Are you merely performing belonging?
  • Are you confusing harmony with self-erasure?
  • Are you loyal to something that no longer resonates?

In my practice, I interpret this archetype as individuation—the journey toward becoming your authentic self. Yet, individuation without nervous system regulation can induce instability.

This is where ritual becomes essential.

What Is Ready to Be Released?

The illusion of perfect harmony.

The role that required you to diminish your presence.

The belief that belonging necessitates compliance.

The pressure to uphold an image that compromises your authenticity.

In meditation, I sensed a strong energy reminiscent of the Eight of Cups—an intentional departure, executed constructively.

The Year of the Horse encourages decisive movement and instinctual alignment. If something feels unstable, trust that intuition. However, ensure you regulate before taking action.

What Is Ready to Emerge?

Confidence.

Creative sovereignty.

Embodied power that resonates without the need for vocal excess.

A guardianship energy has emerged—not foreboding, but accountability. Both personal and systemic shadows are surfacing for integration.

You may wish to reflect on:

• Parental contracts
• Ancestral conditioning
• Spiritual allegiances
• Inherited identities

Remember, this process is not punitive.

It is integration.

And integration necessitates steadiness.

Eclipse Rituals for Nervous System Sovereignty (And the Divine Feminine Call to Create)

Rituals ground insights within our bodies.

The Divine Feminine encourages creation—not succumbing to heaviness, but generating beauty and power.

1. Sea Salt Eclipse Bath (Energetic Reset)

Prepare a warm bath with sea salt.

Place your hands above the water while stating:

“I cleanse myself of collective grief not mine to carry.”

Enter the bath slowly, envisioning the water absorbing illusion, fatigue, and expectations. Invite your Divine team to infuse the water with clarity and protection.

Soak in silence. As the water drains, visualize disillusionment departing with it.

2. Regulated Departure Breath

Inhale for four counts.

Hold for four counts.

Exhale for eight counts with a low hum, allowing your vocal cords to vibrate.

Place one hand on your throat and the other on your solar plexus.

Whisper:

“I can witness exposure without collapsing.”

Allow your voice to soothe your nervous system.

3. Grief Transmutation Ritual

Light a candle.

Position a bowl of water beside it.

Say:

“I release the promise that was never structurally mine.”

Allow the water to absorb what your body no longer requires. Grief becomes wisdom when processed.

4. The Divine Feminine Creation Offering

Choose one of the following:

• Write a poem for your altar.
• Sing softly into your space.
• Engage in abstract painting.
• Cook with intention and bless the food.
• Create music or a reclamation playlist. Listen carefully to the words of the song as words are frequency.
• Treat your body as sacred art.

Before you begin, affirm:

“I generate higher frequency through creation.”

Creation is not an act of bypassing; it is an act of participation.

5. Horse Grounding Practice

Stand barefoot with a slight bend in your knees.

Visualize your roots extending into the earth like hooves.

Ask yourself:

“What movement aligns with me?”

The Horse is not frenzied; it acts from instinct.

Move only from a place of alignment.

6. Aquarius Reflection

Journal your responses to the following prompts:

  • Where am I performing belonging?
  • What system have I outgrown?
  • What would regulated autonomy resemble?

This is not a dramatic upheaval; it is a regulated evolution.

This eclipse does not feel destructive.

It feels like exposure and metamorphosis.

And metamorphosis requires:

Breath.

Grief.

Instinct.

Creation.

You do not need to spiral with the collective.

You need sovereignty.

You need regulated fire.

Remember, as illusion dissipates, clarity emerges.

As always, I am holding you in Reiki and psychological steadiness.

Surrender to Mother Earth.

Call in your Divine team.

Regulate your body.

Create something sacred.

Until next time! Sending love and grounded clarity your way.

Blessings,
