Happy Full Moon, my lunar babes! As always, it is always such a pleasure to channel the lunar energies that I tap into for my collective guidance posts, and as a Reiki Master, it’s even more unique because I actually utilize Reiki energy to tap into and channel lunar energy. During my meditation–which is where I invoke the elementals as well as my Divine spiritual team, I was swept into a powerful meditation that invoked a whole lot of feelings of anxiety and burnout, so I’m encouraged that many of us are successfully closing out karmic cycles. And what a better time to release this burden and face the underlying anxieties that have been amplified because we’ve all been in our feels with this Pisces influence! Let’s dive into lunar guidance to support us in releasing and transmuting, with this Full Moon in earthy, Virgo.
What can no longer be hidden with the energy of this Full Moon in Virgo?
As a therapist and Reiki practitioner, the level of appreciation that I have truly cultivated from a place of recognizing the necessity and worthiness of self-care has transformed so much, and I often approach challenges from a mindfulness approach where we learn that it’s okay to reevaluate ourselves, from a space of non-judgment, but total and utter unconditional love. Spirit has several messages here with how we can utilize this Full Moon to release what can’t be contained not a minute more – and that is the guilt we place on ourselves when it comes to play — and we all know what comes after play, the best part: rest. We live in a culture where we are conditioned to always be in our mind (Ego), and we ignore our most powerful guide – and it is our inner knowing, that energetic seat of power where we grow with our emotions. We must be the paintbrush that strokes, invokes and through that creative outlet, plays with its canvas. TLDR: our inner child and responsibility to self-heal through self-care can no longer be hidden, so use this earthy energy of Virgo to ground down and implement fulfilling rituals to keep your inner child vibrant and nourished.
What needs to be released this Full Moon in Virgo?
This was an interesting question to tune into because releasing requires conscious action, so I saw for many, there is an absolute need to be at a sacred part of your home or nature where you are super intentional about what for you, needs to be transmuted and actively creating and using an altar. If it’s hard to find words, just simply affirm that you are releasing what no longer serves you or others. I also feel a certain aspect of coming to terms with the seasons of the self, the cycles that Mother Earth is most natural being in, as She’s never in a state of really anything, rather she flows and bends, gracefully to the changes around her. It is time for many of us to accept that there are simply things that we cannot control, but what we can control is our emotional response to these events. Sprit urges us to release the need to control what cannot, and instead control what you can feel and see within yourself. Develop a stronger spiritual practice. Eat more nourishing meals. Spend more time with like-minded people. Make conscious decisions for yourself, and release the fear of what is on the other side.
What is getting ready to emerge from this Full Moon in Virgo?
The quote that kept coming to me during my meditation was one from one of my all time favorite writers, Ernest Hemingway. In A Farewell to Arm, he writes, “The world breaks everyone and afterward many are strong at the broken places. But those that will not break it kills. It kills the very good and the very gentle and the very brave impartially. If you are none of these you can be sure it will kill you too but there will be no special hurry.” I’ve only ever focused on the first part of the quote — nothing more has resonated than the declaration that life breaks all of us, but after being cracked open, we truly find strength from those wounds. Self-awareness is ready to emerge in a totally new light where again, we find ourselves as more of a witness to avoid judgment and criticism. It is okay to admit that you are hurting. Truth is ready to emerge. It is okay to deepen your relationship with your spiritual practice. Your inner Divinity is ready to emerge. Your resilience and strength is ready to emerge, as well as your healing from those broken places.
Well my lunar babes, we find ourselves at the end of this post but I so look forward to joining you for the upcoming New Moon in Aries! As always, remember that we utilize the lunar energy of the full moon to release, so I recommend releasing rituals as well as gratitude reflection journaling to help you on your healing journey. I am a huge fan Full Moon cleansing baths where you can call in your Divine team to charge the water to nourish and heal you. Surrender to Mother Earth and know that you are held. Until next time, sending so much love and beautiful Reiki your way!
